The Dread of not Knowing What to do With Your Dream(s).

Whenever I watch the movie "pretty woman" I always look forward to the black man (whoever he is) speech at the end which says: "welcome to Hollywood, the land of dreams, some dreams come true, some don't but keep on dreaming." Such powerful words to keep you pressing hard to achieve your dreams. Sometimes, your dream(s) is(are) on the tip of your fingers, but you need to find a way to roll it into a firm grip of your hands. And before that is achieved, you wake up to find someone else living your dream. Yeah! That doesn't mean you've got to give up on what is already close to be held. There's always a different way to get things done or how else do you explain the different talk shows interviewing the same set of people over and over again, or the radio/tv/blogs writing and talking about the same news under different headlines, yet! We still manage to get fascinated any time we read or watch a different set of view.

There's no joke about the hurdles you'll have to leap over or the bumps you'll hit on the way, all to arrive at the destination of your dream(s). When you survive one, before you could breath a sigh of relief, a bigger challenge is right in front/beside you. And that moment you wished for nothing but a miracle. Unfortunately, the miracle is for you to leap "the leap of faith." Oh! You thought I wasn't coming to this destination but its where it all begins and it'll end. Yes! the leap of faith is what got you started in the first place or else you would have thrashed that dream before it got the chance to be formed. But you probably underestimated the process. Now you are too close to give up, there's just a brick wall too thick to get pass. You know if you could but press hard or leap high enough, the world will celebrate you. Oh! You realise you need a helping hand to be able to achieve this. You turned to the nearest person only to discover he/she is trying to swim across the ocean to the destination of his/her dream(s) too. What a dilemma! We all got individual battles to fight and conquer.

What to do? Becomes the only question to think about. Dread got you rooted on the spot. A step is as heavy as a brick stone on the leg. Look down; you can only see the soil covering. You look up; you can see the beautiful sky in bright blue/white colours or grey/dark colours. that moment; should bring to your thinking, He who made this possible can break any barrier. So, its either you square your shoulders and leap upto God hands (Psalm118:14-16) or slump the shoulders and walk away wishing for the rest of your life, if only you'd but tried one last time to leap. Cheers!

She remembers the moment. The photographer took her picture. She remembers her anger. The man was a stranger. She had never been photographed before. Until they met again 17 years later, she had not been photographed since. The photographer remembers the moment too. The light was soft. The refugee camp in Pakistan was a sea of tents. Inside the school tent he noticed her first. Sensing her shyness, he approached her last. She told him he could take her picture. Read A life revealed
